This brand had as a target audience women who enjoy going to the salon and getting their eyebrows and lips taken care of through microblading. It was also meant to have a more premium feel to it. It is implied that it had to have lots of femininity, but a mature and elegant one.

moodboard

The moodboard reflects all that through a reddish deep purple, complemented by neutrals beige and black, but also a gold gradient. As the aesthetic goes, the owner wanted a mix between geometric and modern looks, but also some organic touches. We created that through pattern and typography.

Even though we did make some icons for the logo, her preference was towards this particular option, a typographic combo, with a particular layout. The elegant sans serif makes for a great contrast with the handwritten signature font, while the third is another sans serif with great legibility.

We also made some circular layout versions, for her to use especially on social media profile pictures. And a few stationery mock-ups, for future reference. It’s definitely the kind of visual identity to translate well on high quality print items, like invites, price list and others.

You’d think that a high end brand might need some over the top elements, but that’s rarely the case. Even though this isn’t a minimalist brand, less can be more, as it’s obvious here. The opulent colors blend so well with the typography, giving it a proper look for a business with such goals.
