HoppiSHOP FOR KIDS

Hoppi is Mihaela’s brand, which was created from a desire of hers to help new mothers, as she is a doctor. It’s planned to open first as an on-line clothing and toy store for babies and children, but then to also expand to a sort of community for them, with articles, discussions and advice.

The general look she wanted was maybe a bit more upscale one, but also approachable. I made two moodboards for her, and she chose the one which looked friendlier, after all. Warm, colors, a few brighter and a few more on the pastel side. And a general feel-good vibe.

At first we worked a bit on the naming and finding the right site domain. Once she decided on Hoppi, making a cute bunny mascot logo was the logical next step. The shoes were correlated with the motto “A step as a hop”, suggesting kids first steps into life.

After the logo design was finalized, we could get to the fun part, and that is making stickers, business cards, mailers, and my favorite, wrapping paper for the deliveries. Using hearts and cute fonts together with those pretty colors was honestly a delight to work on.

Actually, this entire project was an absolute delight, working with my client on something beautiful. And designing animal logos is always super fun. But most importantly was the fact that she was so pleased with the result, which with hopefully help her grow her dream further on.
