Eduard ErjaSenior Python Developer

Eduard wanted a modern and hip branding, one fitted for the IT crowd and which also reflects his active lifestyle. He was looking to use it for professional pages such as Linkedin, Github, and on printed items. Seeing as most tech companies use bright colors and these would suggest the sporty side too, we created an appropriate moodboard.

Teal, purple and yellow were chosen as the main colors, and also made two grainy gradients to be used as background. Their texture brings a little something extra to all compositions they’re added to. As for the logo, he wanted a monogram, made from letters and something to symbolyze the field of work.

So, the result combines the beginning of the name with greater/less than characters in a geometrical icon. Because the linework is rounded, the typography also matches that. Lightly rounded edges bring visual friendliness, yet don’t take away from up-to-date feel.

What followed after the finalized logo, was making some mock-ups for various items, to get an idea on how they would look. Business cards, company ID, envelope, letterhead and others were the ones we used to bring Edi’s branding to life. This is the most fun part.

And let’s not forget about the stickers, which were something he really wanted to get printed, and I really had a good time making. Getting a client picture with the printed design sticker on one of his bikes was most satisfying!
